Born January 16, 1948, in Champaign, IL, the son of Delmar and Lorraine (Rowlen) Curry

U S Navy

He served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1965 - 1969
serving two tours in Viet-Nam

He had worked as a heavy equipment operator

Moved into Citrus County in 1981 from Brandenton, Florida

He was a life member of the DAV Chapter 70

He served the Chapter as Adjutant and Treasurer

He was an avid photographer and well known locally for his workcrafting skills

making canes and walking sticks

He is survived by his wife, of twenty-one years - Clara E. Curry,

Son: Michael W. Curry and his wife Inyoung of Clearwater, FL,

Son: Timothy W. Curry - Brandenton, FL

Son: Robert Thomas and wife Elisia Curry of Floral City, FL

Daughter: Tina and her husband Rodney Huber of Fort Sill, Okla. Sister: Juanita her husband John Cale of Hernando, FL

Sister: Judy and her husband Jerry Conkrite of Crawfordsville, Ind.

seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his parents

Memorial services were conducted at noon, Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at the Fero Funeral Home in Beverly Hills, FL.

Military honors rendered by DAV Chapter 70 and the U. S. Navy

interment will be private
